Dr. Behmard, Dr. Andrew Kay and Their Dental Team

Dr. Behmard - Dentist

Dr. Behmard grew up right here, on the North Shore — "it’s where I began my passion for dentistry and family." He started his dental practice in Park Royal Village in 2001, after completing his B.Sc. in honors physiology and his doctorate in dental surgery at UBC. Shortly after completing his dental degree, he further pursued his passion for dentistry by taking extensive Post Graduate courses in different Dental Specialty fields including oral maxillofacial surgery, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, and pedodontics. He married and started his family in 2004, and is now the proud father of two beautiful daughters. His family shares a strong sense of community and a passion for health and wellness as his wife, Dr. Maryam Zeinnedin, is a family physician at Ambleside Medical Clinic — the clinic she built shortly after they were married. Dr. Behmard is especially proud that both of their practices have recently been recognized as "one of the best clinics" on the North Shore. Together, Dr. Behmard and his wife love travelling and doing charity work. Dr. Behmard has even travelled to Vietnam to work at Ho Chi Minh City’s major trauma center as a Dental Resident, where he treated maxillofacial trauma patients and promoted oral health.

When Dr. Behmard is not helping patients, or spending time with his family, you will find him skiing on Whistler Mountain or cycling in Horseshoe Bay! Recently, he completed the Ride to Conquer Cancer from Vancouver to Seattle, and plans to ride in the 2013 Whistler Grand Fondo."
